Where Is The Appdata Folder Windows 10

Y'all tin can't access information technology because it's a Junction Point not a folder.

The binder "Awarding Information" is for backward compatibility,the real binder is now at a different place.

The fastest way to get to the folder is to enter "%APPDATA%" in explorer.

Else you tin manually browse to  C:\Users\{Your User Name}\AppData\Roaming

Cheers for your reply, that path does not take me to the AIPrefs binder. – I want to change 'Open Recent Files' from five to make information technology 25.

On the Adobe Customs forum, there is direction for XP:

Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\<user proper noun>\Application Data\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator [version] Settings\en_US\AIPrefs

change 10 to whatever you lot want: /maxRecentFiles 10

So I tried this, simply ofcourse I cannot access Documents and Settings.

And if I effort C:\Users\{Your User Name}\AppData\Roaming/Adobe/ Adobe Illustrator [version] Settings/en GB

-in that location is no AIPrefs folder

And then there'southward no fashion to change this setting within Adobe itself? I'd be very surprised if in that location isn't...

In that location does not announced to be, at that place certainly is no fashion inside Adobe in the Adobe Preferences / Full general, User Interfaces etc. – I was surprised by that likewise. Only as you could modify that Contempo File number in previous versions of Windows, I'm guessing information technology still tin exist done? I have questions going in the Adobe Community as well, only the Adobe Community are not on top of things every bit much as they are here at Microsoft!! And you can forget asking Adobe themselves.
